PATS-C enables real-time monitoring information on moth and other flying pest insect populations. Fast detection and swift reaction is crucial to a successful IPM strategy.
The camera system observes the greenhouse and tracks and classifies each insect that passes the camera. That way we are able to:
1) detect pests up to 5 weeks earlier compared to existing monitoring solutions;
2) track the pest population day by day, and hour to hour, following its trend closely;

PATS automates insect control with bat-like drones. Our small drones (7*7cm) intercept and eliminate adult moths mid-air, such that the population development and spreading of offspring is stopped.
