Wiig Gartneri in Norway is a progressive tomato grower and long-term customer.
Wiig wanted to have a heat pump system installed so he could use chilled water for cooling his greenhouses and generating hot water for heating in other zones or at other times.
The heat pump unit has been installed with all required piping and connections, tied-in the existing heating system and equipped with a buffer to absorb flow changes in the systems.

Our long- term client, Star Roses, wanted to save gas and create a lower humidity for disease control.
Previously they were opening the vents, heating the crop and create a vertical air-flow to lower the humidity in the crop and letting humidity escape with the heat through the vents.
With use of slightly alternated fan-coil units and built-in cooling coil, heating coil and electrical heat pump we came to a perfect system to be retro-fitted in pretty much any greenhouse.
We added specific designed air-tubes

We installed a new boiler system with a combined heat and power (CHP) system. With this system, both heat and electricity are produced at the same time by means of a single-fuel motor. The heat regulation can be adjusted separately, so that the 40 million roses in Van den Endes’ nursery grow and bloom under very uniform conditions.
